Find Your TrIBe
TownieThe text reads: "You are a Townie! Your job might be a bit boring but it brings home the bacon and helps you save up for those two weeks away to Spain. Your weekends are set in stone – trip to the shops in town, buy yourself something nice, head to the All Bar One with friends, have a laff, maybe go for a club, as long as there’s none of the indie weirdo music. Keep it straight, you say."
CluBBerThis text reads: "You are a Clubber! You live for the weekend when you can get on with the real living – going out for 48 hours and dancing the night away. You’re only young once, right? You will go miles to find that elusive perfect rave – if it’s a field in a middle of nowhere, miles from home, or your spiritual home: Ibiza. For you, Space really is the place."

AnalysisThis was my result on www.findyourtribe.com. Apparently I'm a 'Townie', i slightly agree with this as it is mainstream and also was my result. It also said that i am showing signs of being a 'Clubber'. I do like a good party, but i don't go miles to find one. I don't feel that this was a good way to find my 'tribe' or subculture as on most questions there wasn't an option that i would of picked.
Clubbers listen to some mainstream music. Clubbers would listen to artists/bands like David Guetta and Dj Fresh, which seem to be very popular with my target audience. Townies would most defiantly listen to mainstream music such as Florence, Eminem, Rhanna and so on, also popular with my target audience. I think i can work with these subcultures (tribes), as mainstream music does fit in with them (esspecially Townie). They are very different from each other, but I'm sure i can link them in some way. |
